Falcon Heart

Soaring, melodic harmonies, and captivating storytelling form the foundation of Falcon Heart’s Folk inspired Indie/Rock sound. With influences ranging from Band of Horses and Fleet Foxes to Sublime and Elvis Presley, Falcon Heart expresses love, loss, and lessons learned from the evergreen city of Portland, Oregon.

Falcon Heart was conceived when a Craigslist ad brought musicians and Oregon natives Marcus Glaze and Aaron DeRosso together almost ten years ago. They have been refining their friendship, songwriting, and performance skills through various projects ever since, forming Falcon Heart in 2015 with the addition of bassist Robert Williams and electric violinist Jean Mastaler.

Glaze, a natural born performer, joins his instrumental, vocal, and songwriting talents with those of DeRosso, a meticulous and engaging long-time drummer, singer/songwriter, and recent guitarist. Williams embellishes upon Falcon Heart’s melodies with his catchy and intricate bass lines, while Mastaler blends her classical sensibility with her fierce electric violin into the expressive, nuanced, and explosive sound that is Falcon Heart.
